Anti-blackness is a global phenomenon that affects people in every cultural and ethnic group. Within larger systems of structural oppression, it translates to higher rates of social ills, including poverty, unemployment, poor health outcomes, and substandard housing.

After a grounding presentation, groups will discuss the impact of anti-blackness in our congregations, our families, our work places, and our larger society. We will also look at ways of countering its impact.

This workshop will be offered at the same time to three groups:

  • Black Identified

  • Non-Black People of Color

  • White Allies

This workshop is built in conjunction with the final track session
