Building Blocks: Envisioning the Future of Black Lives of UU

Join the Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism organizing collective for a structured workshop around what comes next for BLUU. Lead organizers Lena K Gardner & Dr. Royce James begin the workshop with a brief history of BLUU along with a presentation of how BLUU hopes to address:

  • the pastoral care needs of Black UUs
  • resource allocation & procurement for Black UUs
  • How to create authentic connections between the UUA faith & the Black Liberation Movement (Movement for Black Lives)

Following the presentation, we will break into small groups to discuss these issues and how to build structure to address them.
