Last year Black Lives of UU joined the efforts of 'National Mamas Bail Out Day' by contributing our own funds, challenging UU congregations to match our donations and supporting bail outs directly in Atlanta, GA.

This year we are expanding our efforts by creating a BLUU End Money Bail Team! We are looking for Black Unitarian Universalists who are interested in learning more about the movement to end money bail both nationally and locally. Selected team-members would help the BLUU OC & Community Organizer connect with both local end money bail organizers and UU congregations.

Expectations are for team-members to spend no more than 2-3 hours per week on the project with engagement beginning May 1st and ending in Fall 2018. Any required travel will be covered by Black Lives UU. New organizers are welcome and encouraged to apply. There will be some overlap between the BLUU AMC 2018 Cohort's work & this team, those on the AMC Cohort are also encouraged to apply.

Complete the form below to express interest in the joining the team! Applications will be accepted through Monday April 30th.
